Established in 2004, advice-resources offers tools, directories and guides to support practitioners in the provision of information, advice and guidance.

The service was revised in 2010 to support careers advisers delivering the Next Step service.

Funded and managed by the Skills Funding Agency, advice-resources provides access to training materials, Next Step service information and a range of resources, such as labour market information, job profiles and course information.
